About the way I see it...

I began drawing when I was a child, wanting to capture the things I saw around me and that were in my imagination. My art is primarily self-taught, with a few classes for technique added. "The way I see it" is still equal parts of how I see the world around me and how I express what I see in my imagination. Surprisingly, this evolves into some interesting creative combinations as I paint. My style varies with my mood and how I "feel" the images I want to create. I am grateful for my art, it gives me such happiness.

Suzanne is a member and currently President of the Dayton Art League in Dayton, TN, and her paintings are in the League's Fine Art Shows during the Strawberry Festival in Dayton, and in the Harvest of Art Fine Art Show, also in Dayton. Her paintings were voted Second and Third Place in the People's Choice Awards for the 2009 Strawberry Festival Art Show.
